8 TroGlass and Plexiglas® Laserable Materials TroGlass is a transparent, cast gloss acrylic with a coloured coating on the reverse side. By reverse engraving the back and infi lling the engraved areas with colour or backlighting an elegant fi nish can be created. A third layer of Black backing which signifi cantly reduces the cleaning time and enhances the depth of colour. Plexiglas GS® is a clear cast acrylic. It is suitable for applications where excellent transparency is required.
