Die Universität für künstlerische und industrielle Gestaltung Linz zählt zu den wichtigsten Bildungseinrichtungen unserer Stadt. Der Besuch von rund 1.300 StudentInnen aus dem In- und Ausland sowie ein breitgefächertes Bildungsangebot unterstreichen den Erfolg dieser Einrichtung. Seit jeher besteht zwischen der Kunstuniversität und der Stadt Linz eine gute Verbindung, die bereits durch zahlreiche gemeinsame Projekte sichtbar geworden ist. Für ihre außergewöhnlichen Arbeiten sind schon viele Studierende mit dem Kunstwürdigungspreis oder den Kunstförderungsstipendien der Stadt ausgezeichnet worden. Darüber hinaus haben sich zahlreiche AbsolventInnen mit dieser Ausbildung einen Namen gemacht, der mitunter weit über die Landesgrenzen Österreichs wirkt. Die nun vorliegende Imagebroschüre bestätigt einmal mehr das vielfältige Angebot an Fachrichtungen und deren qualitätsvolle Inhalte. The University of Art and Design Linz is one of the most important educational institutions of our city. The success of this facility is amply highlighted by attendance figures of approx. 1,300 students from Austria and abroad as well as by its varied curricula. Traditionally, the contacts between the University of Art and Design and the City of Linz are very close, which is also evidenced by numerous jointly implemented projects. Many students of the University have been honoured for their outstanding work with the Arts Appreciation Award or the arts promotion scholarships of the City of Linz. Moreover, many graduates of the University have established a solid reputation, in some cases far beyond Austria’s national borders. The present image brochure once more confirms the wide and diverse range of curricula as well as the high quality of teaching on offer.
