Die Universität für künstlerische und industrielle Gestaltung Linz im Besonderen ist eine über die Landesgrenzen hinweg renom mierte Bildungseinrichtung, die aufgrund ihrer diversen künstlerisch-medialen Forschungsprojekte auch international einen hervorragenden Ruf genießt. Der Abschluss eines kreativen Studiums an den Instituten der Kunstuniversität Linz legt eine solide Basis für ein breites Auswahlspektrum an Berufen, die zur nachhaltigen Entfaltung des Kunst- und Kulturlandes Oberösterreich wesentlich beitragen. Als Landeshauptmann und vor allem als Landeskulturreferent freue ich mich über das breit gefächerte Bildungsangebot und wünsche allen Studentinnen und Studenten ein erfolgreiches Studium. Our city, the capital of Upper Austria, has evolved into an attractive economic and academic centre. The University of Art and Design Linz in particular is an educational institution of great renown even beyond the borders of the federal province: its varied artistic and media-related research projects have acquired an excellent international reputation. Completion of a creative curriculum at one of the institutes of the University of Art and Design Linz provides a solid basis for a wide range of professions that contribute significantly to the long-term successful development of Upper Austria as a region of art and culture. As the Governor of the Federal Province of Upper Austria and above all in my capacity as its Cultural Affairs Officer, I am delighted by the multifaceted educational options available and would like to wish all students the best of success in their study programmes.
