The University of Art and
Design Linz is a place of
production, in which art
and culture come to life:
Presentations and film
screenings in the presentation
room ’splace’, the
WHA gallery shows student
projects, the glass rooms
on the roofs of the bridgehead
buildings host lectures
and discussions. The most
important events include
OPEN HOUSE, the annual
exhibition BestOFF, plus
symposia, public inaugural
lectures, presentations,
lecture series, and academic
celebrations. In addition,
the University of Art and
Design Linz is continuously
involved in national and
international festivals such
as Ars Electronica, Next
Comic, Crossing Europe, or
the Festival of Regions.
